Summary of the Bangalore Study. This is a clear summary of the results of Dr Kataria’s Bangalore study which studied the physiological effects of laughter yoga on stress and blood pressure. This study was funded personally by Dr Kataria as he was frustrated with the (then) lack of medical interest in laughter yoga. Hopefully it will be the first of many future scientific studies.
Laughter Yoga in the Workplace – a University of Wisconsin Health Center study entitled “Effect of Workplace Laughter Groups on Personal Efficacy Beliefs” which found laughter yoga based sessions improved staff morale.
